Note: This CME Section is the Advanced Transesophageal Echocardiography Section.  It is not the Introduction or iTEE Transesophageal Echocardiography Section. 
 
 Format:
 
For Physicians, the exams consist of 10 questions per chapter
For Cardiac Sonographers, there are 10 questions per CME unit
 
Minimum Passing Score:  70%
 
Number of Attempts:
 
Physicians can take the exam up to 5 times
Cardiac Sonographers can take the exam up to 3 times
 
 Post Test:
 
After you take the exam, you can view your wrong answers.  We cannot provide the correct answer or an explanation, but, the answer is in the chapter so please review that section for the correct answer.
A CME certificate link will be available on the first successful completion of the cme exam. (and in your account)
 
Suggestions:
 
You can prepare for the CME exam by taking the multiple Self Assessment Exams at the end of each chapter, or in the Education section.
 
Automatic CME Forwarding:
 
For Cardiac Sonographers, your CME certificate will be automatically entered into the SDMS CME database so you can view your certificates there also. (SDMS number required)
For Anesthesiologists, your CME credits will be forwarded to the ABA database. (Requires ABA number to be activated.)
