This web site serves as an educational course for the student or resident to learn about echocardiography and a resource for the serious echocardiographer. This web site has animations, images and video loops of echocardiography topics. Extensive explanations, how-to sections, as well as a bank of video loops are available.

     For the student or resident learning echocardiography, the syllabus contains topics about echocardiography, that, when mastered, will allow the student to be proficient in echocardiography. Topics are rich in images, animations, and video loops to help make difficult sections easier to learn. Step-by-step directions are available to guide you in your education of echocardiography.

     For the experienced echocardiographer we have a What's New section. The What's New section contains new information about echocardiography. After reviewing the what's new links, you will have visited the areas that contain new or changing information.  An extensive bank of video loops, animations, and images are available for you to use in lectures, projects, or for reviewing and refreshing your education.

     You can test your knowledge by taking a CME exam for CME credit.   After each chapter you can go to the CME section an take an exam over the chapter's content. While you can only pass each exam once for CME credit, you can take each exam an unlimited number of times.
